following up on our previous post on cleaning apple keyboards, we thought we follow up on how to get the mighty mouse shiny again… especially if you experience problems with the trackball.

a good start are the official apple instructions here, note how turning the mighty mouse up side down potentially enables the dirt to simply fall out.

if after that the trackball still does not work properly, you might want to try inserting the tip of an compressed air canister into the trackball. as last resort you can also completely disassemble the mighty mouse for cleaning as demonstrated here.
